Please note the pool itself cannot be reserved by homeowners. The Clubhouse may be reserved. Contact CAM to Reserve the Clubhouse.
The swimming pool is officially OPEN for the season!
Pool cards for those in good standing with the association have been activated. Please note that homeowners making payments outside of regular business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends or holidays) will have their card activated on the following business day. There will be no after hours addressing of card activation.
If you have lost your pool card or do not yet have one, please contact Community Association Management (2101 Corona Rd, Suite 102, Columbia, MO 65203) during regular business hours 10am-5pm at 573-499-4445 or info@camcolumbia.com. Please note that replacement pool cards are $50.
Please take a moment to review the pool rules to make sure we have a successful season:
THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY AT ANY TIME. Please enter the pool area at your own risk. In case of emergency dial 911.
Pool hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Anyone in the pool area outside of these designated hours is strictly prohibited and will be considered trespassing. (Code of Ordinances, City of Columbia, Missouri 16-156.)
Residents must be at least 14 years of age to enter the pool area without an adult resident or childcare provider (over the age of 18). The adult resident or childcare provider is responsible for the behavior of accompanying children at all times.
All non-resident guests, regardless of age, must always be accompanied by an adult resident (over the age of 18). Non-resident guests are limited to three (3) per family, per visit. The adult resident is responsible for the behavior of all accompanying non-resident guests at all times. A NON-RESIDENT PRESENT IN THE POOL WITHOUT AN ADULT RESIDENT IS CONSIDERED TO BE TRESPASSING. (Code of Ordinances, City of Columbia, Missouri 16-56.)
Keep the gates closed and always locked. The pool area is to be accessed by resident access card only. The Brooks HOA is issuing one key access card per home. The access cards will be deactivated if a resident has any Brooks unpaid dues, fines, or assessments due, and/or if a resident is found to be in violation of the pool rules.
No diving, flips, running, pushing, dunking, fighting (physical or verbal) or excessive rough play in the pool or pool area.
GLASS CONTAINERS AND SHATTERABLE PLASTIC ARE PROHIBITED FROM THE POOL AREA.
No food, beverages, or gum allowed within three feet (3') of the pool or within the pool enclosure.
NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IN THE POOL OR POOL AREA. (Including Vaping and E-Cigarettes)
No disposable or cloth diapers in the pool; swim diapers are required for all children who are not fully potty-trained. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE DIAPERS ON THE POOL DECK. ALL SOILED DIAPERS MUST BE TAKEN HOME.
Do not enter the pool if you have a communicable disease or open cut or wound; band-aids are not allowed in the pool. Do not swim if you have diarrhea or have had diarrhea within the past two weeks.
No animals are allowed in the pool area.
Appropriate swimwear is always required; no cutoffs, thongs, pants, shorts, or excessively revealing attire will be permitted.
No profanity or offensive language; no attire with offensive language or pictures.
The use of radios, music players, game consoles, and other electronic devices is limited to headphones only.
PLEASE HELP KEEP THE BATHROOMS CLEAN.
NOTES:
The pool may be closed without notice in case of inclement weather, health or maintenance needs.
Those in the pool area outside of pool hours, or during other posted closing times may be arrested for Trespassing. A letter of enforcement has been issued to the police department allowing them to make arrests for after-hours swimming.
